Western Region Dancers Dance Well at 2015 Canadians!

Several Western Region dancers traveled to London, Ontario, Canada to compete at the 2015 ScotDance Canada Championship Series!   This is the largest Highland Dancing event in the world with nearly 1000 dancers from all over the world competing over a series of 4 days!
The following Western Region dancers competed at SDCCS this year:

• Devon Watson
• Megan Watson

All four dancers were successful against a very tough field of competitors.  Below is a summary of their results:
 
ScotDance Canada Open Championship (Friday, July 10th)
Erin Blair – Champion – Premier 14 years
Devon Watson – 4th Runner-up – Premier 14 years
Emma Schiff – Champion – Premier 16 years
Megan Watson – 3rd Runner-up – Premier 16 years
 
Sherry Dalliday Memorial Premiership (Thursday, July 9th)
Erin Blair – Winner – Premier 14 years
Devon Watson – 4th place, Hornpipe – Premier 14 years
Emma Schiff – Winner – Premier 16 years
Megan Watson – 4th Runner-up – Premier 16 years

Premier Highland Competition (Tuesday, July 7th)
Erin Blair – Overall Winner – Premier 14 years
Emma Schiff – Overall Winner – Premier 16 years
